Happy New Year, In Greek Translations, Anastasia Giagopoulou

What a year indeed!

I hope you and your loved ones are all safe in these difficult times.

Traditionally you read this post around Christmas time; however, I decided to publish the Achievements post at the beginning of this New Year as a message of hope and optimism. We have to be strong, smile and keep going.

So, here it goes, some of my latest achievements.

1. Get Connected: Customer Satisfaction Survey 2019 Results
Thank you so much for taking the time to complete my Customer Satisfaction Survey conducted during 2019. I really appreciate it as your feedback helps me improve the way we work together. I have taken into account every single response I received and I have to tell you that your comments really make a difference.

As you are one of the most integral parts of the work I do, I want to ensure your opinion is being heard and respected.

I am very proud to give you the results of my Customer Satisfaction Survey for 2019.

2. Give back to the community: BP20 Online Conference

Last year's translation conference was planned to take place in Nuremberg, Germany, but due to the pandemic of Covid-19, the skilful and most supportive host, Csaba Ban, succeeded in organising the entire event online on the Zoom platform.

That was a really great experience and despite of all challenges, it turned out to be a huge success as any other BP Translation Conference.

My presentation went really well (better than I expected!) as I had the pleasure to talk to more than 170 attendees! According to the feedback I received (thanks for sending them over), I must say that I definitely succeeded in sharing some of my knowledge on content marketing and giving something back to the translation community.

You can find more exciting information about my presentation on the conference's website.

Don't forget to check out all details on BP21 Translation Conference that is to take place in beautiful Kraków, Poland... or online again.

3. Contribute to the Translation Industry: Panhellenic Association of Translators (PEM)
I'm so excited to announce that after two successful years as a member of the Board of Panhellenic Association of Translators (2018-2020), this year, at the first fully digital annual General Meeting of the Panhellenic Association of Translators that was held on Sunday 31 May 2020, I've been elected as a Secretary General of the new PEM Board for the 2020-2022.

My aim is to support my colleagues in Greece and abroad by providing solutions to their everyday business issues and share the knowledge I have gained all these years in any way I can.

One of the most exciting projects we are working on is the Association's new website. So, stay tuned for more surprises and amazing results!

Nothing of all these would have been possible without your support and trust.

Thank you so very much and I sincerely hope that 2021 would be a healthy, productive, prosperous and happy year!

Healthy and Happy New Year,
Anastasia
